    Canon Imagerunner 1133

I thought this would be an easy job, but no, I am struggling with it, might be a tree and forest issue

I need to fit a pickup roller for this machine - Canon imageRUNNER 1133 - Office Black & White Printers - Canon UK

Can't even find a picture of the pickup assembly online to at least take a stab at it. Depending on how crappy they are you may need to remove left and right covers and it may be a shaft that gets its drive from the main drive and engages with a solenoid or some jazz like that. Can't find a manual online either. You think this is bad try doing a reg assy on a 1023. If you could provide a photo of the ppu unit that would help considerably.

I can, HP and Canon are well known to be tied together. I can order most of my HP parts from Canon directly. The two free spinning rollers on the side of the pickup roller looks exactly like an HP.
