Customer has an irc3480 that prints every copy as a duplex copy when printing directly from their server. Everything works fine from desktops but server defaults to duplex. The IT person says he has it defaulted to 1 sided but still comes out duplex...any ideas? Evidentally they just loaded a new D-power imaging software when this problem started occurring, which I know nothing about.

Usually once it's set for single sided on the server shared print driver it will default all the clients as long as it's rolled out via GPO. All Canon drivers by default are duplex. -

The application is over riding the driver settings. Tell their IT to get their books out or contact the manufacturer of the app. Not a printer issue...leave the ball in their court. Its their 3rd party software causing the problem, not CanonComment
