IR7095 blank screen only power led

    Greetings team,
I am going to visit an ir7095 that the report states; upon power on machine's control panel is dead with only the power led lit but initial rotation is heard.
    What could possibly cause this?

Pull transport out and see if it tries to boot. If not unplug process unit connectors, slide out process unit(drum unit) and see if it starts to boot. Probably will. The vibration motors for the cleaner blade short out as does the wiring to them. Replace the motors and the wiring harness from them. Common on 105 and 7105, Motor is FG6-8723 quantity 2 and harness is FG6-8594 quantity 1 if this is the problem

Update, I tried pulling out transport assembly, duplex assembly and processing unit then power on, however the problem persists. What else can cause this?

Is the power LED red or green? If red that means there is some error. if green did you try to press it and see if the machine can print? If you have a spare panel try to test it.

If its going through rotations it could be display issue. Can you browse to the machine through the RUI? If not can you even PING the machine Is there a RIP on machine? Can you print to it? When you turn it on does machine and accessories initialize?

              You have some possible solutions.
              First try to print something.
Try to browse machine trough RUI.
Another advice is to try tap on display. If there is sound heard (of course if sounds aren't disabled) then it might be problem in inverter (INVERTER PCB ASSY' = FK2-1646/FK2-7408)
Let us now if you found the problem.

                Team here's the update:
                1. Machine turned on showing only 'Main power' light
                2. Initial rotation is heard
                3. No beeps when keys on panel pressed
                4. Finisher does not initialize
                5. DADF light comes on when paper in placed
                6. No access from RUI
                7. No printing accepted (no processing light blinks)
                8. No RIP on machine and not PINGing

Interesting. Did you try put in safe mode when powering on??
Maybe main board? I'm not sure realy.
Because if there is no loading status it could be after all main
board, disk or display. But, if problem is in disk then you will see
error. So, conclusion: main board or display........or I don't know.
                  Wish you luck!

I had this problem with IR6075 and it was the pcb 1 that was causing it

Re: IR7095 blank screen only power led

Did anybody figure this one out yet? Now I have an IR7095 with the same problem. Main Power light on but touch screen remains dark. It started out over the span of a day where a reboot would get it going again for about a half hour at first then permanently down.

                      Here's what I've done so far;

Swapped out all power supplies including All Day PCB. No difference.
                      Replaced Main Board. No difference.
Tried starting with doors open, transport bed and duplexor pulled out. No difference.
Disconnected vibration motors and all connectors to drums. No difference.
Disconnected HD to see if it would throw a code. No code. No difference.
Checked for shorts by unplugging one connector at a time from the DC Controller and powering up for each connector. No difference.
                      Replaced the display. No difference.

                      Here's my plan for Monday;

Because I just read this works for some other Canon models, change the memory.
Check the micro-switch on the front door interlock because I remember doing this on an old ir600 once for some reason.
Start looking for a pinched wire somewhere in this baby.
                      Swap out DC controller.

                      Anyone have any ideas?

Well after the going on a nice long goose chase it turned out that the second main board I installed had the exact same problem! Just glad it's fixed at this point.
