U mean it does not see a doc when placed ??

The machine's electrical mechanisms are controlled by its reader controller PCB. The CPU of the reader unit interprets signals from the sensors and the devices
connected to it, and generates signals used to drive such DC loads as motors and solenoids.
The ADF controller PCB does not have memory areas, and data associated
with service mode and the like are stored in the EPROM found on the reader controller PCB.
          -------------------------------------------------------------------------
u checked input 24v to feeder --did u check the 13v from printer power supply
?(The 13 V power is converted by IC2 into 5 V for output to sensor and the ADF controller PCB.)

did u check 24v & 5v output from ADF controller PCB

DID U CHECK OR REPLACE THE CABLE FROM DF TO PRINTER
believe u can remove cable cover to inspect small inside connectors

            Thank you for your reply.
No,Can't see feeder in the service mode, device configuration also no ADF detect but feeder is connect to the copier.
24v & 5v from ADF are all present but what i curious is the LED light is not flashing like normal good adf.
What cant lead to the led light not flashing.
Also i exchange the whole unit of ADF and poblem are still remain.

Re: No Feeder Detection to the Copier

When this happens on the models I work on:
              I check for error codes
              Do a PPRINT
Then RCON clear , brings the feeder back into play.
Then work on the error code

Yesterday solved the problem, very curious ,just spare along the main board, reader board,dc board, dadf board and the DF cable .
First fix the reader and df board with the cable, switch onshow no the power and show feeder is detech to the printer.
Bring back the problematic board back to office and test with the printer, show no problem with the board.
                  Very funny

I have the same issue with ITB's on the 3080's. Gives an insert black drum on one machine but works fine in another.
