irac5250 feed roller

anyone have a part number for the cassette feed rollers in a canon irac5250, used to be fc6-7083-000 in previous machine, but in this machine it has a ribbed roller instead, parts catalog still has old part number

thanks, but thats not the number i'm looking for, this is a replacement roller for fc6-7083-000, its a ribbed roller, rather than the usual canon roller, its lasting longer, but its still the old part number (fc6-7083-000) thats listed in the catalog

FC7-9502-000 ? I don't understand what roller you're putting in but I'm assuming it's something similar to a 5000 feed roller. Are you getting any 0113/010X codes with the ribbed tires?

its the exact same roller as fc6-7083, except that its ribbed like fb6-3405, it came in a batch of 7 brand new irac5250, they have given no problems jam wise, with over 100k on some of them, thats why i was looking to replace them with like for like, but cannot find a part no. on sims or in the bulletins, so was just wondering if anyone else seen these, if worst come to the worst will use fc6-7083

If you are on about the new "Groved" feed roller (Groved as is like the pick up roller FB6-3405) its..

FC0-5080-000

BUT i have been told there is a HUGE stock of FC6-7083 in the UK, and until these have been used up, the FC0-5080 will not be sent out
Also there are not available till Nov.

I have quite a few of these in the field - they were all shipped using the three rollers from the C5000 series....

Will keep an eye out!

I ordered 3 sets of these p/n and got the ribbed ones :
FC6-7083-000
FB6-3405-000
FC6-6661-000

Maybe they where out-of-stock and I got the new ones ?

just be careful and check the price of the new ribbed rollers, I heard that Canon were doing the same with the iradvc 2220i, replacing the fc6-7083 with the new ribbed roller but about 4 times the price!

FC6-7083 are ribbed-ones overhere (Holland) for quite some time now... Didn't hear the office yell when they had to order them...

Yikes at the price! 100k on these? If you are doing 100k on the main feed tire what about the other two? If you want to shoot for 100k with this new part. Do we stick to replacing the other two as usual too?

exactly canon345, the pick up roller and the new ribbed roller will last 100k but what about FC6-6661-000, lucky to get 30-40k out of one of those before it wears....Think ill just be sticking to the usual FC6-7083-000, dont see many problems with jamming anyway!
