    Canon iR7105 tray 3 & 4 doesn't read correct paper size

Hi, I have worked on 5 different of these models, and haven't figured out what is causing this problem.

But it seems that all of these canon iR7105 machine's universal trays seem to have the same problem.

I would put paper into trays 3 or 4 and when I close the tray, the machine would not sense the correct paper size (ie. 11x17 paper would show up as B4)

I can wiggle the tray when I close it and the machine will pick up the right size eventually.

I've swapped the trays with a working iR105+ and it does the same thing, so it's not the tray itself.

again, I've add this problem happening across 5 different iR7105 machines.

Any help us very much appreciated.

    Thanks

Go into service mode and retrain the VRs for the cassettes.....COPIER/FUNCTION\CST...highlight, set guides, then press ok. Sounds like someone has been doing ram clears

this happened before I did the ram clear.

Also, I have another threat after this one regarding doing a dc-con clear that messed up some other settings.

I also did run the routine you mentioned, but after that, when I opened and closed the tray, it would not recognize that paper is actually in the trays (3 or 4)
