Canon iR7105 Paper Deck Not sensing paper in tray

Hi, I have a Canon iR7105 paper deck that was working fine, but it would not sense that there are paper in the tray.

The tray lifts up and stops appropriately when it reaches the top, but the UI keeps on asking for paper and the tray icon would stay blinking.

Trouble started when my tech had do a DC-Con clear and we had to input all the settings. The only thing we can't get working now is the tray will not sense the paper.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

    Thanks

Sorry, I didn't specify which paper deck, it's the LCT tray (tray 5)

All other settings are correct, machine shows that I have LTR size loaded in the tray. But when I load the paper in the tray and close it, machine will lift the paper up and stop at the top.
After that nothing happens, still shows as if I don't have any paper loaded in the tray.

Also, the tray was working fine before the DC-Con was cleared. So there is a setting somewhere that is not set right.

        -------------------------

no setting needed if printer recognizes DECK & Paper size
        (see below/

        service mode LEVEL 2
        COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P

CL-ADJ= Use it to adjust the timing at which a clutch goes on and off.
        <Clutches in Question>
        Vertical path 1 clutch /Vertical path 2 clutch /Vertical path 3 clutch /Vertical path 4 clutch /Lower feeder middle clutch /Lower feeder
right clutch /Deck (left) feeding clutch /Side paper deck feeding clutch

Be sure to execute this mode item whenever you have replaced the DC controller PCB. Otherwise, there will likely be a drop in the
accuracy of positioning the paper being moved, in turn increasing the frequency of jams.

        ===
        AFTER A >CLEAR > DC-CON

-Using the following service mode item, specify the order of connecting
        delivery accessories:
        COPIER > OPTION > ACCPSD-D > ACC1 to ACC8
-Set the values indicated on the service mode for their respective service mode items.
-Set '0' for the following service mode item:
COPIER > OPTION > BODY > FIX-EXP (fixing smear repression mode)
-Execute the following service mode item:
        COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > CL-ADJ

        COPIER > FUNCTION > SENS-ADJ > OP-SENS (Level 2)

OP-SENS= Use it to execute automatic adjustment of the optical sensor.
        1) Place paper in all decks and cassettes.
        2) Select the item, and press the OK key.
        3) See that 'ACTIVE' is indicated, with the result (OK/NG) indicated for the sensors that have been checked in sequence.

The LCT Deck doesn't show in the COPIER > OPTION > ACCPSD-D > ACC1 to ACC8 list, it only shows that we have the finisher installed.

Should it be on the list? although it does show up on the copier's UI that the tray is present.

Re: Canon iR7105 Paper Deck Not sensing paper in tray

I just ran the Sens-Adj->OP-Sens and everything is good except for the OP-PS sensor

Also, when running CL-ADJ. This adjustment would fail.

            Thanks
