Canon ir8070

i want to take some clearance for this model Canon 8070 the Hard Disk is the same for ir9070 and 105+ ,is theres any other models of Copiers can use the same Hard disk because actually i couldnt find in my country ,also what about the Boot Rom is there any one can install for the IR8070 !!

too much research needed on that//

U just check inside the Printer's Model Firmware>HDFormat.ift folder/file for any listed supported HDD's for that model & compare to other models HDFormat.ift folder/file.

On many newer models Canon has encrypted (security reasons) the HDFormat.ift so u will not be able to view additional supported HDD's.
this prevents you from Modifying the HDD Descriptor File, to use an alternate HDD.
Makes u buy OEM HDD
