dotted horizontal thin line on IR7105

Good day, any idea what causes the dotted horizontal thin line on IR7105 during copying and printing? I already did the following tasks:

    1. replaced all corona wires
    2. cleaned platen glass and white plate
    3. replaced cleaning blade
    4. cleaned developing assembly
    5. and cleaned dust-blocking glass

It also appears even when copying blank pages and the line doesn't stays in single location, it move along the horizontal lines. Please see the attached scanned sample.

does it mean that the drum needs replacement or polishing? The total copies are around 3.9M.

try taking drum out and polishing with metal polish, and look out for corresponding marks.
Could be laser, but not so likely

Check star-wheels at fuser entrance guide, lint or something hanging down into laser light path, or possible drum sep claw

            Hello,

Print a blank A3 page and verify if there are repeating "same" dots. If yes, roll up the A3 and make these dots coincide. If the result is corresponding to the drum size, clean it or replace it.

If the primary corona is overused, it emits sparks on the drum surface and leads to this result.

            Rachid.

Usually primary arcing on these machines give you deletions....light areas. Machines like 5000,5570,6075,in which laser discharges white area, its is common to see spots from primary arcing. The old NP6050s would get spots from pre-transfer arcing(AC). Crash a copy on the transport belts to see if it is fuser star wheel issue or not. The line is fairly straight

17 posts and you have a rep power of 14? Amazing....lol. Did you crash it on the belts to see if its coming from imaging area?

Agree, most likely a charge corona issue. If rebuilding the corona doesn't fix it. Replace the Corona assy. Canon# FG6-7313-040,

                        Good day,

Done with the issue by replacing with new Photosensitive Drum, About halfway of the circumference of the drum showed visible dotted lines when using magnifying glass. Not sure what causes this phenomenon. Thanks for all your help and time.
