ir 3045 jamming issues

3045 will only copy or print paper from tray 2 LTR-R if you put any paper in tray one it will jam in the fuser. about 3 inches of paper comes through the fuser then it jams and the rest of the page is accordion inside the fuser. the machine just had new feed tires installed last week and has been working great until. yesterday. thanks in advanced.

What size u tried from first tray, LTR or LGL? try with different paper sizes, and also try the same sizes from second tray and bypass. These are for confirming the complaint of first tray or the complaint of fuser unit.

I gotta ask but the dial is corresponding to the correct paper size in the tray yes? LTR-R if set to LTR will jam just about the fuser area with a size ng code

sorry i should have gotten the jam codes in the first place. 0108, 0107, 0201 the paper comes about 3 inches out of the fuser then the machine says jam. when you pull the jam from the machine the rest of the paper is stuck in the fuser accordion.

See the door mods bulletin posted. Also check that the rubber damper for pre-reg sensor flag is not causing it to stick. Actuate the sensor arm(below silver reg roll on machine). If it does not actuate easily,then remove the damper from the metal tab that the flag rests against...Read this..... RegFlag.pdf. Also make sure dampers are removed from right door

When the paper comes out with Z-Fold / Accordion / 3 Fold and jams after several copies with error 0108 Delay in PS14, it means that the fuser film is not rolling with the pressure roller.

Replace fixing film, Remove the old grease (IMPORTANT), Apply Grease and replace film.

Maybe the sensor is needed to be cleaned in the fixing...
