canon ir 2420L

We are facing some problems with 3 nos new canon ir2420L(only run 3-4 months,producing 20,000 to 30,000 copies)copier machines.

One machine is showing E808-000 and others two are showing E007-000.

We have cross checked the DC controller and power supply unit found DC controller are giving problems.

In both cases fixing unit is ok, machines are connected with 2kva voltage stabiliser and line voltage is ok.

Both cases machines are in running condition about 2-3 minutes after power on after that the error code are flashing that time no initial

rotation takes place after switch on the machine. Giving rest 30 minitue machines will again in working condition for 2-3 minutes.

Why this is happening ????? Why dc controller is giving problems.

You should lubrication the thermal stick (inside fixing unit) by thermal grease.

we have already lubricate the fixing film unit

replaced the entire fixing unit if not then change the fixing motor. e808 is generally bad connection to the fuser, check pinouts, check pin to pin for continuity, that one will probably be a tie wrap at best, a dcon at worst.

Machine is only 3-4 months old and produce only 20-30 K copies then why should we replace the fixing unit,what I think the dc controller of this type of machines are not so strong as compaired to ir 2016,ir 2116 j,ir2018N etc.

why not check and replace the fixing drive motor?
