    C7000 Touch Screen Issue

Hello - I've been having trouble with a C7000VP touch screen. I see on other threads that this issue, where the screen is off calibration and I can't touch the buttons on the upper part of the screen. I was going to try clearing the ram as previously suggested, and was trying to do it using the remote operations kit but it won't connect. Does anybody know if the C7000VP just doesn't support that software? I just wanted to make sure before I moved on to messing with the hardware more. Really a pain, we have two of these machines and I just got this one back up from a long period of down-time, and of course the other one started giving me fits as soon as this one went online :P Finicky machines - thanks in advance for any help!!!

Touch panel goes bad. They are deteriorating by age. Best is to replace. Densi has them, part # CATP0002.

That using a hot blower or lighter really quick trick actually somewhat works. Was able to buy time on a 6055 call this morning with it.

What about a hot blower? Haha I must've missed that one...

Yeah, I swapped the screen with my other machine and it works fine so I'll just replace it. C'est la vie, non?
