Does anyone know how to reset the Warning screen " Replace Waste Toner Container"

The machine is a Canon iRC3480

This Warning message has come up in the display and wont reset even though new container has been replace but warning won't clear.

To clean or replace PS11 the black hopper drive assembly must be removed, the procedure for removing the hopper drive assemblies can be found on page 10-21 of the service manual.

Sensor PS11 is located at the auger opening that might have toner dust on it or is malfunctioning. Verify the position of the PS11 and the auger open close shutter and replace the PS11 consequently.

Yeah..the photo interrupt gets toner in it...I get at it with a piece of surgical tube on the wand attachment on my old faithful laservac Push the coupling back and done in a minute....

If that doesn't work then service mode > Copier > Counter > drbl1 > wst-tnr select and hit C to clear. I have a lot of the 3380's that the waste toner counter doesn't clear upon replacement of the waste toner bottle.

When that photo-interrupt(PS11) is dirty,it will tell you to" insert waste toner container" as opposed to "replace waste toner container" when the window on the toner bottle is dirty. Two different things
