Hello, I have a IR400 that gave an error code of E677 001. Have cheked all connections. When the copier first turns on, if the print-I/F key is pressed, the button for the print controler is only there on occasion. When it does show up, if I press reset print board, it immediatly looses the connection. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you need a new Harddrive on the printer board. It's a laptop size one. You will also need the firmware for it. If your a tech you can ask Canon for it. If not good luck getting the firmware. First make sure you get the message that says "do you want to go into setup" if you don't get that don't waste your time replacing the harddrive get a new printer board.
