How in the world do you set this to default to black copies. I have looked at the user manual but I must be missing it. i have done this on the 1020 series if memory serves correctly but its been a while.

Use the Following Steps to change the Default Copy settings:

1) Press (Main Menu) button.

2) Use the (Scroll Wheel) to select <Copy>, then press [OK].

3) Change the Copy Settings to what you want to default settings to be.
4) Use the (Scroll Wheel) to display <Standard Mode Reg./Initialize>, then press [OK].
5) Press [OK] to select <Register>.
6) Use the (Scroll Wheel) to select <Yes>, then press [OK].

7) The default copy settings have now been changed.

Thanks I knew it was something that I was missing. I was trying to go in the the add functions after making changes on the display.
