IR 2016 printer offline

Hi guys,
How can I change the status of the IR 2016 in printer mode from offline to online??
The operating system of the computer is windows 8.
The driver of UFRII is right.
when I want to print from the computer, the order remains in the que.

Network ScanGear (Pull Scanning)is not supported with the imageRUNNER 2016 / 2016i / 2020 / 2020i models.

Important Notes:

- Push scanning via Universal Send is available on the imageRUNNER 2016i / 2020i models

In windows7 , if opened the printer and faxes window, canon IR 2016 UFRII LT appear, press right click by mouse, move the mouse to printer offline.
I mean this point status mode.
I hope you understand what I mean

Canon IR 2016 is not supported network scangear, it’s only network printer, I know this,
I mean offline in the computer. Before upgrading to windows 8, I don’t have any problem in windows 7, the problem occurred in windows 8.
Please be patient,
In windows7 , if opened the printer and faxes window, canon IR 2016 UFRII LT appear, press right click by mouse, move the mouse to printer offline.
I mean this point status mode.

u need to remove & update the driver / the old UFRII v2.90 does not support Windows 8

UFRII v14.00 Setup Installer for Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 8.1/Server 2003/Server 2003 R2/Server 2008 x32bit.

or for 64bit
UFRII v14.00 Setup Installer for Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 8.1/Server 2003/Server 2003 R2/Server 2008//Server 2008 R2/Server 2012/Server 2012 R2 x64bit.

Hi,

Would assume that IP of machine is "pingable" from your Win8.

Ensure your printer driver is using TCP/IP port to print. Under "Ports" tab of printer driver, click on "Configure port" button, change from RAW to LPR with queue name as "print", try untick "SNMP"

Click on Devices and Printers
Right click on 2016 Printer
Select ‘See what’s printing'

If the printer is in offline state you would be seeing the check mark in front of ‘Use Printer Offline’.
Remove the check mark and wait for printer to come online.
EXAMPLE


if above does not apply >>do below


1-Uninstall Driver>then

2- “Remove iR2016 Printer” > Re-start Windows > then Re-add 2016

> then
Re-install the Driver/ use the UFRII v14.00 Setup Installer
for UFRII v14.00

Check if you are able to find the printer online.

see if print driver sees 2016


Make sure Network Sharing is on

go to the printer/devices for the 2016 and run as administrator, right click on the device and run as administrator, should go online
