Since it is affecting all colors, and is obviously a transfer related problem. Check HVT contact on machine and external secondary roller contact on the door

Hi,

it seems any kind of ITB unit problem, are the lock lever (rear) and lock lever (front) broken?

you can check itb contacts or swap the ITB with other irc 2380.......

never changed > why would ever do that/ never seen a blade go bad>unless u are using Boot Leg toner

looks like a TRANSFER BIAS issue
bias tab for the transfer roller assembly can become bent and making poor contact.









Check the Bias Tab on the front side of the Secondary Transfer Roller and the Bias Tab on the ITB frame assembly.
The bias tabs must be in good shape and making good contact.

Check the Secondary Transfer Roller Rear Bias contact > make sure it is not bent bent.

Try adjusting the Rear Secondary Transfer Roller Bias Tab & see if the image on the paper will get better ? See if it fades in and out.?
Inspecting the bias tab more carefully > see if there is a small crack in the unit.


Replace the rear Secondary Transfer Roller Bias tab (FC6-9452-000) resolved the issue.
