[Misc] IR 740i network setup

I am trying to set up a brand new canon 740i for printing and scanning. I have programmed the ip address but without any success. Selected the DHCP option but there is no ip address allocated to the machine. Tried the network cable on another machine and it is working. Any ideas?

firstly i think the model is ir 1740i
