IR adv 5235i. problems installing postscript license

When installing the AR1 postscript license key I get a message saying "insufficient memory to install option".
I have installed this kit before on 5235's without any issue.
Any Ideas?

You will need to install and additional memory to Main Controller 2. EXPAND512MBTypeD is required when using PS Kit

"Miserable Old Git" is in London and according to the parts list,

I am in the UK also and have never had to fit more memory when installing a PS license or a fiery.

Check the memory ServiceMode >COPIER>DISPLAY>ACC-STS>RAM it should be 2GB

Clean and reseat the memory.

hi all... thanks for the input. the device is not showing correct amount of ram, so I will be checking tomorrow for bad seating. MOG

No worries. Good luck with it. In Aus we have to fit an additional memory. Must be something to do with all the sunshine we get here. By the way, how the weather there in good old London town. Was there earlier in the year, weather was great in June.
