iR ADVANCE C5235 - Scanning Issue

Hi all,

After some advice please.

Installed a brand new one of these today. Can't get scanning to work (SMTP or SMB).

All the details are correct and authenticated.

As I was leaving I noticed the network adaptor had no lights, even though printing works fine?

Going back 1st thing tomorrow. Could an IP conflict stop the lights flashing while still letting prints through?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

hi... there are no lights on the network connector anyway... as you can print unlikely any ip conflicts.
Try booting up with dhcp turned on, then input original ip and switch off dhcp again.

are you getting any error code on report? you can enable report somwhere in function menu.
here are list of error codes

also check computer has turned on network sharing, folder has all permissions checked.
and sometimes the username isn't the same as you see in windows ( you can see it in cmd; C:users:"username">)

Saludos. El ordenador es un MAC o un PC. Porque si es un mac vas a tener problemas para usar smb ya que a partir del Leopard an cambiado al SMB2 y es incompatible con lo que puedes usar es por ftp.

Greetings. The computer is a MAC or PC. Because if it is a mac you have trouble using smb as from Leopard changed to an SMB2 and is incompatible with what you can use is by ftp.

had the same problem with an ira2225 today - cleared the MMI reinput the settings now working,weird.....
