    Can't print to new ir2525

Received 2 identical 2525's at my office. Using same UFR II driver on pc's. Can print to one but not the other. I know the driver is good because it works on one. Could it be that the one that doesn't work didn't get set up correctly before they dropped it off to me? I can get into the web admin on the copier, it's set to a static ip, it will receive faxes.......but I get #853 when i try to print to it. Being that I can print to the other 2525 from this pc but can't print to the 2525 closest to me then logic would tell me there's something wrong on the copier rather than my set up.

Anything else I can look at from here before calling the Canon rep and listening to him tell me it's a pc issue??

Even Identical Twins are not exactly the same. If your machines came with the CDs, open it up to get the manual for SYSTEM setup, This will guide you to set up the machine properly for printing.

According to the manuals we are set up correctly. Also, the cd's only provided a 32 bit driver for Windows 7 so we are using the most current 64bit UFRII driver from Canon's website.

So, if we have it set up correctly, and we are using the correct drivers, and we can successfully print to another identical model copier.......where would you start troubleshooting on the 2525 that we can't print to? Maybe service mode and reset something? I can get into service mode but I can't find a list online that shows me what all the options are so I'm not going to change anything there unless I know what it is I'm changing.

i take it you are receiving faxes with the G3 fax and not Ifax? Can you ping the machine?

I can ping it. I can get to the Remote UI via Internet Explorer. On the fax all I can tell you is the phone line plugs directly into the copier so I'm guessing that's the onboard G3?

Does the processing data light turn on,_?

                Question :
How are the installed and enabled licensed based options for the device determined?

                ######## ;-\
Currently the items that are LMS Activated for this particular device series are as follows:

                Optional Feature Sales Part Number
                PCL Printer Kit-AF1 2860B001AA
                PS Printer Kit-AF1 2861B001AA
                Color Send Kit-Y1 2862B002AA
                Searchable PDF Kit-C1 3912B002AA

The method of confirming license option could be made whether the license option is active or not in the ACTIBAT FUNCTION item by printing out the SPEC REPORT from the service mode.

To print out the SPEC REPORT:
                (1) Enter the service mode. Push [Additional Functions] Key > push 2, 8 Keys (in succession) > push [Additional Functions] Key.

                (2) Push cursors, and display [#REPORT]. Then press [OK].

                (3) Push cursors, and display [#REPORT OUT PUT]. Then press [OK].

                (4) Push cursors, and display [#SPEC LIST]. Then press [OK]. The 'SPEC REPORT' will be printed out.

                (5) Check the items displayed under ACTIBAT FUNCTION in SPEC REPORT. ACTIBAT FUNCTION > - BW-SEND - CL-SEND Items for which ON/ON is displayed are validated.
