E 000 on iRC 1028i when feed envelopes.

I am always here.
Here is shown a strange defect !

When I feed an envelope from bypass in a iRC1028, the machine after 10 minutes by internal adjustment, It display error code E000.

With a normal sheet It does not .

I have updated the System.

I changed the fixing unit..

Nothing !

The error code appears !

The very strange thing is that the envelope remains in the multi feed tray.
It does not feed !

Suggestions ?

E000-0000 Error Code
occurs only when trying to run envelopes from the Stack Bypass Tray.

No error codes or malfunctions occur if plain letter size paper is setup and used from the Stack Bypass Tray.

For Additional Functions > Paper Settings > Stack Bypass Paper is set to Off.
Common Settings for Additional Functions was
initialized.

Software for the machine was reflashed with current version of software.

Workaround :
Performing ALL Clear in service mode correct the error.

To perform ALL Clear in service mode, enter service mode (press the Main Menu key then press the #2 key on the Key Pad of the Control Panel followed by pressing the #8 key and finally the Main Menu key one more time).
Make sure Copier is selected on the display and press the OK key.
Then select Function on the display and press the OK key.
Now scroll and select Clear on the display and press the OK key.
Finally, scroll and select ALL. Press the OK key. Wait a few minutes. The machine will reboot

Fix was to replace film unit.

From the Computer I send the print on the envelope. (the driver is correctly set).
The machine starts making internal regulations, and after 8 - 10 minutes, displays E 000 and the envelope stays on the tray bypass. Do not moves ! ! !

The machine switches the paper feeding speed depending on the type of paper fed in order to prevent a fixing failure.(E000)
DC Controller switches the paper feeding speed over 3 settings (1/1 speed, 4/5 speed, 5/7 speed) depending on the paper type specified by the main controller.
Envelope= CL/BW= Envelope = 4/5 speed



After replacing the DC Controller PCB, restore the backup data from the Main Controller PCB.
1) Using the service mode, restore the backup data of the DC controller stored in NVRAM of the main controller PCB to NVRAM of the DC controller
PCB.
COPIER> FUNCTION> VIFFNC> RSTR-DCN
2) Execute "Initial Setting/Registration > Adjustment/Cleaning > Automatic Gradation Correction > Full Correction".
