    IR C3220 error code E000351-0000

The machine gave this code E000351-0000 when the customer sent a print job, then they shut down the machine but this code keeps coming on everytime. ECO-ID faulty?? Can't seem to find any info in the service manual. There was an earlier post in 2012 regarding this. Is there anymore info and ideas how I can resolve this problem.

The machine has been running in this location for 2-3 years but has had many printing issues that are unrelated. Wrong print driver was being used but this had been corrected. There have been no pcb's cganed in the 3 years of operation that we have had this machine in service.

ECO ID PCB is still considered a restricted item and can only be obtained by contacting the Canon Technical Support Center.

First check and re-seat all connections to the SRAM PCB, Main Controller, Counter Memory PCB and the ECO/ID PCB.

When performing repair due to one of the error codes above, please adhere to the following rules:Never replace two boards in the Soft Counter circuit at the same time. This would be any two either the Counter Memory PCB, SRAM or ECO PCB.
Doing so may change the symptom to an E355 code that would become un-clearable.none of these can be swapped to another machine. Whenever a Counter Memory PCB must be replaced, the new Counter Memory PCB learns the Total Count from the SRAM and customer values for copy counts are retained.

Re: IR C3220 error code E000351-0000

The code E000351 is resolved....It was the reseating of connections of the following; SRAM, Sub-Main, Main control and all cards that are connected to the Main and Sub Main Pcb's. Focus on the Differential Pcb (card up top that plugs into Sub-Main Control Pcb)

The control panel was shutting down also and that was the connections on the Power Distribution Pcb (lower left looking from rear of copier) and the small pcb (connector pcb located below main control and it is mainly connectors).

      All is resolved. Thanks!!
