    Canon CIR2620 Jamming Before Fuser Switch

    Hi Guys,
    once again this machine is doing strange stuff,,,,reseated DIMMSto get machine to come out of arm up mode, now it is jamming right before fuser entrance switch.
    Any ideas? (ran out of time customer anted to go home)

      Jam code_?

      So lead edge does not get over on fuser guide plate to sensor flag .

      Is issue from all paper feed cassetts_?
      Single & or double side or both ways_?

          No jam code , lead edge just touches fuser guide plate, and from all cassettes and all sizes of paper.....even the bypass.

              No jam code is puzzling:

              I would have a look at the plugs j406 and j802, these make contact when the fixing drawer is closed. Also have a look at or replace ps21 in the duplex unit and ps22 on the side registration detect unit.
              j802 the fixing drawer cable could also be damaged where it leads to the back of the machine. You could also try reloading the firmware.

              Cannot think of anything else right now.

                  so printer just stops running/ ?? what does control panel show ??

                  never seen a no code on this model


                  what position is flag for fuser entrance ?

                  did u check history log> for jams>errors ?
