Canon C5030- Can't Change toner

Happy Holloween!

I have a Canon C5030 I'm working on for my customer. It says to replace cyan toner. I go through usual steps of opening cover (1) but I can't move along to step (2) press remove toner cartridge because the screen never appears. I've checked the sensors and opened the cover several times to figure it out. I'm stuck here. Please help!
