E350= Faults on ECO ID PCB.

    Counter Memory PCB = FM4-1259-000
ECO ID PCB continues to be restricted. The ECO ID PCB can only be obtained by contacting the Canon
    Technical Support Center.

the Counter Memory PCB is a matched board with the ECO ID PCB and cannot be swapped with one from any other engine.
When troubleshooting the Soft Counter Circuit, it is important to not discard or lose track of the Counter Memory PCB, ECO ID PCB, SRAM PCB or Main Controller PCB until the equipment’s proper operation has been restored and verified.

A good first step in troubleshooting this circuit is to mark the Counter Memory PCB with the serial number of the equipment using a felt tip pen. This will allow reverting back to the original circuit board set if any change of symptoms occurs without fixing the problem.
Never replace two boards in the Soft Counter circuit at the same time! This includes any two of the
    following:
    a. Counter Memory PCB,
    b. Main Controller PCB
    c. ECO ID PCB
    d. SRAM PCB

The problem may be resolved by re-seating the connector on the ECO ID PCB.

+++ Ensure connector J1213 on the Main Controller PCB is connected.

This PCB is at the center right rear of the back of the copier.
    > below the board with the barcode label is the ECO ID PCB.

      Hi Teckat,

First of all I would like to thank you for your very detail information how to tackle my problem.

I have tried to re-seating the connector on the ECO ID PCB but is still the same problem when you on the machine error code E350-001.

I have tried to unplug all the socket on the controller PCB for few days hope to make the machine memory lost and start again. Is still indicate the error also once you switch ON the machine.

Any more idea how to solve these problem.

        U may need to replace

Counter PCB part number is FM4-1259-000.
        Location on Main 2 pcb.

Funny thing is > usually u receive a e355 when u mix up counter pcb.

        Try this> remove counter connection_power up printer & see if u pop a e355--, if so clear the e355_in Level 3 *

*One can access Service Mode Level 3 by entering Service Mode Level 1> then press Settings & Registration> 1&9 simultaneously>Settings & Registration> 3 on the key pad.

after clear_power off_reconnect counter pcb_then power up** may get lucky

Last resort is to try an "Initialize Data/Settings"

One can run an "Initialize Data/Settings" by, Settings Registration>Management>Data Management>Initialize Data/Settings."

the back up data sheet located on the very last page of the Service Manual lists all that is cleared when performing this function,

To Initialize All Data: You must be logged in as administrator > Select Settings Registration > Management Settings > Data Management > Initialize All Settings > select yes, this will roboot the machine and a new screen will appear explaining "do not cut power" and a 20 minute time allocation bar.

*Warning 😱print out a user data list 1st!
