    IR 3100c

I'm working on my own after 12 years at a dealer and have been offered a IR3100. Would it be worth buying and repairing or not?

I assume you mean iRC3100, and if it is I have to agree with alex.

They are such a high maintenance machine, and the list of updates and fixes these machines have is as long as both my arms.

I am a self admitted Canon fanboy, but those machines are a genuine lemon.
No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.

Running won't get you away fast enough...jump a plane man
I'd say yes if you had posted stating that there were 2 machines coz you can use the other for parts but a single 3100 will cost you a mint in parts/labor etc etc
