[Error Code] irc advance 5030 error code E0100-0100 & E0102-010

These codes are intermittent but they do kick everyday and do not want to reset easily, they do after machine sits a while 15 minutes or so. We have changed the laser unit 1, reinstalled the firmware also. My service tech trained on this machine is saying we can't pull a board off of a used machine to check the dc controller. I have had some techs send me step by step how to save a reinstall the info from the machine, my question is does the donor board need to be cleared before being removed from the donor machine ?

U can do the dccon clear after u put it in the new device. Make sure firmware is up to date. Canon released new software to address this error code.

If it's up to date and u haven't tried a new bk drum yet I would do that before dcc. The error is caused by electrical noise from the drum.

Sorry but I think the subcode points to yellow drum.
