Canon adv c5035 - finisher problems

Canon adv c5035 has a internal finisher that when you copy it pushed the paper out but does not fully release it and tries to pull it back in and tears it. Is that some sort of pressure adjustment to not put so must pressure on the paper or is there another adjustment I need to make? Thanks

Sounds like the grippers that push the paper out are not releasing. Good luck! I got one in pieces rt now fighting a 1101 jam. I hate these inner finishers. Mechanical night mares!!

I don't know of an adjustment. I would agree it may be the gripper. The internal finishers are a pain and difficult to service. For a while cannon was replacing the entire finisher because of so many problems but not anymore. I would try and replace the gripper assembly and make sure the rail is not broken it sits in. Most of my problems are with the gripper assembly or the exit rollers guide that sits around the rollers.
