Canon IR-105 SMTP user

Hi there, I am trying to set up our Canon IR-105 to send email via GMAIL's SMTP server. I have changed the smtp port but i still cannot get it to work. I think it has something to do with Google requiring SMTP authentication. Is there any way to tell the Canon to connect to the SMTP service using a specific username and passsword and TLS secure connection?

I have never had luck making any Canon device work with Gmail. If you figure it out, let us know...
