IR6570 adf error

I have two ir6570
i don't know why
suddenly my two machines cannot use adf anymore
when i press start button to copy from adf feeder
the message appear
"Open the feeder cover (if any originals are left in the original feeding tray, remove them)"

is that something wrong with the settings.

what is docst ?
what is la speed ?

did u clear dc-con or r-con ?

in some ir6570 after clear the above two, the adf shows error.

solution in some simple steps -

fresh start the machine.

go in service mode and then COPIER > FEEDER > FUNCTION

SENS-INT press OK

come out of service mode, restart machine.

now check adf.

I had this many times since our client commonly using the machine in dusty rooms. Try cleaning the feeder paper sensor. We solve them many times.

Where is exactly the feeder paper sensor?

already try that service mode..
but it still error

DOC-ST is Document Stop. Leading edge registration of paper
LA-SPEED is Read speed of document over the CIS Lamp.

Sounds weird, but disconnect the RDF's from the Scanner electrically ant then turn the MFD's on. Basically using it as if it had no RDF. Then reconnect them again. Also remove/refit ALL connections to the RDF controller.

Why are both MFD's showing the same problem at the same time. Has someone copied sticky labels/receipts in them and a piece is left over a sensor?

my technician solve my two ir6570 problem...
he cleans the adf...
it just too many dust in there..
and it works
