Ir7105 E0020-0008

Hi Guys,

I had encounter this error code E0020-0008, it was referring to M18 motor. I changed the motor and still not working. Intermittent error code is E0020-0003,e0020-0009. I changed almost everything (hopper unit, developer assmbly) but still not working.

I had check with my fellow tech friends and they recommend me to change the 3 sensor inside the developer unit but i do have a spare developer and i changed the entire set. Right now it manage to start, and i am doing Toner-S in Service Mode.

I read the other post for E0020-0008 and some tech recommend to check the "paddle", i checked the service mode but there is no such thing is "paddle", even though everything looks fine now but i still prefer to check the "paddle" to be save....

Can Anyone guide me on where is this paddle so that i can rest my mind with ease?

***Side Note***
Changing hopper unit its the messiest thing i had done to my copier... Toner leak everywhere... I try to vaccum any area i saw on the floor but still... Anyone have any recommendation on how to properly change the hopper so that i know how to counter this in future?

E0020-0008: When the toner feed motor (sub hopper) is driven, a fault is detected for 3 sec or more for the motor.

Replace the toner feed motor (sub hopper; M22).

Thanks for the reply. I do have the service manual. I just wish to know what is "paddle"? Do you happen to know? I had change 2 motor from my other used machine, there's no luck. However, the 3rd one works.

I just finish test print and seems to have intermittent toner leak, but i reckon its from the hopper unit and i accidentally leak it somewhere... I am trying to figure it where now. lol....

Anyway, its working perfectly fine other than the leak.... Any one can lighten me on why there are intermittent leak? could it be the pre transfer assmbly?

I also would like to find what is the "paddle"
