Canon 2016j download

when turn on Canon ir 2016j, just get message download.
can I do something to fix this or need to download sysytem software to machine.

Also need system software for this machine.

can offer xerox, toshiba and some other canon for exchange.

Problem : "Download, Standby" message permanently displayed on LCD. Cannot be removed by switching machine off/on.

Sub-Assembly : Firmware

Cause : Unknown, cutomer said message was intermittent & could be reset by switching off machine, then even that would not clear message!

Solution : Attached USB A to USB B lead from laptop to copier, and updated Boot and System software (as this message means its waiting for software download), then switched machine off/on. Machine then initialised itself and now working ok.

Remark : Has been a few days now, & machine is still working ok.
