[Misc] canon ir1740 skew

I ran into a Canon ir1740 that skews about a 1/4 inch per 11 inches. No idea why. Same out of all 4 trays.Only 26k on machine.The paper is skewing.???

is this on Prints & Glass Copies ?

are u sure it's not the image on paper that is skewing ???

actual paper skew>usually/ eventually causes jams

I get the skew on prints as well as copies. The skew is not on the paper. The paper actually skews as it goes through the machine. I believe the skew is created at the reg roller

I took a look again and noticed a clip and spring assembly missing on one side giving pressure to the reg roller. got one on order .should fix it
