Very intermittenly when using the manual bypass the lead edge is faded. Not every copy just occasionally. Any ideas?

So printing & copying & DF use from all other trays are perfect_😍

Is this from glass scans to bypass paper_?
Or DF use to bypass paper_?

What about Network printing to bypass_?

It only happens when they print from computers, that is the only time they use the bypass though. We've never been able to duplicate the problem when there, they have been saving the print jobs to show us.

do they keep paper stored in bypass tray ??? (that's a no-no)
what type/ size of paper is being used in bypass_?

what print driver are they using ?
did u check printing to bypass with your laptop connected

Rewire the transfer /sep corona assembly...could be coincidental that it appears only from bypass. Get rid of the "maybe"s first. Post a sample...does it look like primary issue or transfer issue? Is it blank or just faded? If faded, can you see edge blanking in it? IT IS LEAD EDGE AND NOT TRAIL EDGE FROM FACE DOWN DELIVERY?? This is very important in solving your issue. Does machine deliver this specific print job face down or face up? Need some facts to sort it out. I have seen bent pre-transfer guide cause weak images on trail edge of prints on these machines. Could have a dirty/bad dev clutch also.
