ir-600, low on paper cassette indicator

Wierd Issue Regarding #1 And #2 Cassettes, When #1 Runs Out Of Paper It Starts To Pull From #2 As It Should' But When You Open #1 To Refill Copier Stops Feeding From #2 And Indicates That Both Cassettes Are Out Of Paper. And Vise A Versa. Thee Only Thing I Have Done So Far Is Replace Both Feed Assy,s. No Jam Or Error Codes. And Sometimes Either Cassette Will Indicate Low On Paper When They Are Full. Hope Ive Givin Enough Info. Thanks A Bunch

when you say low do you mean empty?

have you checked the bearings for the deck runs as these collapse they are nylon but they should be replaced with all metal ones...
