    Canon w6200 error code eo2do2

hello. I bought a canon w6200 that had been sitting in storage for number of years. The machine looks pretty new inside the rollers look like it has had very minimal usage but it gives error code eo2do2 which after researching i found it is the carriage home position sensor. As soon as the carriage returns to home position and touches the chps sensor i get the above error. Also it will not load into 'service mode' if i hold online and paper feed button while powering on nothing happens. Is there anyway round this ? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

There are two ways to enter the Service Mode on the Large Format printer:

    1) For models with an INFORMATION button:
    - Turn on the printer while holding down the PAPER SOURCE & INFORMATION buttons.
    - Keep pressing the buttons until the letter "S" appears in the upper right corner of the display.

    2) For Printers that have LOAD and NAVIGATE buttons:
    - Turn on the printer while holding down the LOAD & NAVIGATE buttons.
    - Keep pressing the buttons until the letter "S" appears in the upper right corner of the display.

Note: To exit Service Mode, turn off the power.

In order to clear an error code, simply enter and exit Service Mode. The machine will clear the error just by entering Service Mode. There is no need to initialize anything while in Service Mode.
