    Canon IR7095 laser part

The part I need is FM2-8146-000000. Is this the diode only and not the whole laser assembly? Where can I buy this item??

    Thanks

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.... and
if this was an easy thing to do then everybody would be doing it! But it isn't and they are not!!

Some shops found on google says this is a complete LSU assembly. But parts catalog for Canon iR7086/7086B/7086N/7095/7095i/7095P/7105/7105B/7105i points to the part number FM2-5449-010 as an LSU assembly.

All I can say that there's only LSU as a whole unit with no exploded view in parts catalog.

Some of the places that repair/rebuild these assemblys get the diodes but will not sell them seperately. Too bad!

You can repair it at NWRS Inc., a Canon authorized facility.
I have done that to after long time searching for those laser diodes.
