    [Misc] Development mode on canon Ir

    Dear All I am expert technician on canon copier .
    Does anybody knows how can enter on development mode in canon Ir copiers.

    This is for my personal use.

      Maybe he meant "Factory Mode", as you can get into on Ricoh Boxes, if you know the code Gives the ability to change serial numbers, Model Brand and Speed but not counter.
      If sometimes you feel a little useless, offended and depressed always remember that you were once the fastest and most victorious sperm of hundreds of millions!

          Go to Canon website, there is a section for developers.
          What are you trying to do, if you simply want to access MEAP then the SM will give you the access info. If you are asking for SM L3 or higher as a Canon expert you should know that.

            Available SDKs and Tools
            Printer Driver SDK Lite - The Printer Driver SDK Lite allows printer settings to be made programmatically from within an application using VB or VC++ without invoking the Driver UI. Note that the Printer Driver can not be altered in any way. The Printer Driver SDK can be used only to make Print settings from within an application. This SDK is intended for use in Windows applications only. This SDK is freely available to Premium Members. EXAMPLE


            Printer Driver SDK - The Printer Driver SDK provides the same capabilities as the Printer Driver SDK Lite , but also includes support for VBA Programming. There are additional licensing and fee requirements for this SDK.


            Fax PCL Driver SDK - The Fax PCL Driver SDK allows fax settings to be made programmatically from within an application using VB or VC++ without invoking the Driver UI. Note that the Fax Driver can not be altered in any way. The Fax Driver SDK can be used only to make fax settings from within an application. This SDK is intended for use in Windows applications only. This SDK is freely available to Premium Members. EXAMPLE

            MEAP SDK - Allows the Developer to build Java applications for embedding in MEAP-enabled Canon devices. There are additional licensing and fee requirements for this SDK.

            ScanFront SDK and UI Customization Tool - Provides the ability to Add Indexing capability, use other authentication methods and Add/Erase buttons on the scan setting dialog. The User Interface Customization Tool allows you to change the background, customize icons or add a company logo to the ScanFront screen.

            Foreign Device Interface Kits - Provide a connection methodology between supported Canon devices and Third Party cost accounting solutions.

            The tools made available through this program are available to Premium Members only. These materials may not be transferred to, or in any way provided to any third party.

              Than you for your reply interesting information. i was joking with expert i am working with canon the last 6 years. iam still learning. I am planing to check developer site. Actual i am wondering if is any more modes on copier.
