    Workaround :
The following procedures and settings can limit the frequency of the message "Wait, adjusting fixing" however there are tradeoffs which will affect the quality of the fixing. The message is caused by the upper fixing roller overheating the lower roller/belt.

    1. Select Productivity Priority over Image Priority.

Press Additional Functions>System Settings>Device Management Settings>Fixing Temperature Mode Switch then select Productivity Priority. Set Min. Basis Weight to 257 gsm and Max. Basis Weight to 300 gsm.

    2. Print to the Mailbox instead of printing directly to the engine. Variable data jobs must be saved to the desktop before sending it to the mailbox.

    3. If you have an Insertion Unit -C1, select service mode level 1, Copier>Option>Body>INSRT-SW>1 (if the inserter runs out of paper a jam will be called with this switch set).

    4. Select in service mode level 1 Copier>Option>User>FX1BC-SW and select +2. This increases the threshold that triggers the message by 15 degrees C.

    5. Recommend that the customer uses the offset feature on the output devices instead of using slip sheets.

    Note:
Make sure the Secondary Fixing Unit Thermistor is in contact with the upper fixing roller.

Also make sure u have the correct paper type selected.
