    [Jamming] Jams on 300gsm - 010c, 010d

I am getting a lot of jams (010d, 010c) while feeding 300 gsm paper through multidrawer A1 into a irac9060.

I have cleaned all rollers in the paper path and cleaned all the sensors.

I have replaced all (pickup, feed, sep. rollers) on the multi-deck A1.

If I use 200 gsm paper or lower gramature - the feeding process goes smooth.

Is it too much to ask to run 300 gsm ? or I need to change all the rollers in the paper path ?

Machine has done approx. 1 milion A4.

I had the sam problem on our brand new ira 9060 with 300gsm paper. With this kind of paper I was forced to use our old clc5150.

        Hi to all,

i think that the book says 300 gsm with the manual bypass. With the multidrawer deck A1, it is limited to 220 gsm only. In the Image Press C700/800, which uses the same muli-drawer option, if you need to use the 300 gsm paper, you need to add the manaul bypass as an option.

From the service manual of the multi drawer (page 11):

This equipment can feed coated/thick and handle 52 to 300 g/m2 media.

Those specs are for paper deck NOT multi drawer

                        Let's do it like this:

If I am right - you will pay for the dinner when we go to Budapest next time
If I am wrong - I will pay for the dinner when we go to Budapest next time
