There is an issue with the dev.
Not sure exactly what it is but...
I think the auger to push the toner toward the roller is defective.

Check your ETB also. It causes light copies too
They are rated for 500k, but most last longer

Make sure that the primary fan duct(that grey box that you had to remove to get at coronas) is fastened properly. The plastic breaks of the left side of it where the screw goes through, This causes the laser shutter not to open all the way giving you lighter print on the one side of the page. If ok try reseating the laser. Canon modified the laser mount brackets for issues with light prints.

I have had broken stirring rods in the dev assembly on a couple of these also. Pop the cover off the dev housing and turn the gears to see if the stirring rods and augers all turn

thanks all for your response ,
but my friend Cauck if the fan plastic is broken that cause a black copy not a light one it will give you a dark copy cos the shutter will not be open all ,thanks again for all your ideas

How can you get a black copy without toner on the dev roller

I understand your logic...in this machine the laser writes white so you would think it would be dark. What I have seen many times on these when the shutter isn't fully open is that it severely affects potential control. Machine won't fail and error, but dev bias, primary charge, etc get messed up. You get a print with grey background on the one end, but the actual density is very weak

Kinda reminicent of an NP6045 popping an exposure lamp...black copies, then turn off and on to do potential control, then blanks

Have you tried to make a minimum height of the transfer corona.
I found the similar problem on ir5075 then I set the height of transfer corona at minimum value solved this problem.
