On my ImageRunner Advance c7055, the yellow is skipping a 1/8" streak clear across the page in feed direction. What could be the problem and how do I correct it?

Re: Yellow streak
Run a PG10 , see which colour as a white line
Try function/ install/ stir yellow
If that does not work, yhen.........
Remove the yellow dev oR whatever colour you have a problem with
remove two screws from the top and take the top off
remove two screws from the blade
take the blade off
remove the white chunk, causing the problrm.
replace the blade
rotate the dev roller no more than 1 and a half turns.
If no line, you should be good to go. -

Successfully removed what looked like a chip of yellow paint from the developer, saving a perfectly good developer from the landfill. Thanks for your help.
According to the manual, I am to calibrate the belt steering sensor whenever I release the transfer assembly pressure:
Execute the ITB Edge Profile/Steering Roller Neutral Position Measurement Mode.(COPIER > FUNCTION > INSTALL > INIT-ITB)
When i start the procedure, I am supposed to get an "active" message, and then an "OK" when complet. I just get a "NG." I must be missing something. Any idea what?Comment

Re: Yellow streak
Make sure machine comes to ready before you go into service mode and execute. See if it logged any errors in service mode. I personally do not run the routine unless I have removed the belt or worked on itb assembly. The routine sets up the edge profile of the belt...for what you have done it is not necessary. Could open a can of worms... LOL...the old CLC2400s,etc...if they were running good you didn't dare try re-initializing stuff or anything. Hell don't even shut them down. Gut them(devs or starters, drums, chargers, etc )and re-initialize everything on the PM then see ya..Comment
