    iR7105 Broken Staple Cartridge

    IMAG0064.jpg

Our Technician just broke the staple cartridge.

Any idea how to repair it?
He says it doesn't work anymore. I don't trust him xD.

    Thanks

Unless the cartridge has broken pieces, it can usually be snapped back together - do you have another to use as reference?

Nope, don't have any to use as reference.
It seems like everything is ok. No broken pieces or anything.

Is there any picture of the complete cartridge I could use to assemble it back together. I got back the white piece back to it is supposed to be. I just need to put back the metal piece and try it on the machine if it works.

Thank You, that did help a bit.

Now there is a problem. Since the staple chain was broken, there were still some staples and they are stuck right now. How should I remove those staples to install the remaining staples from the cartridge. I tried pushing the staples with an exacto blade but it didn't work.

Sorry I can't help you there
I recently found an easy way to remove unused staples on other finishers but I have had no opportunity to try on this model

              Hmm Thank You anyways.

Would it be ok if I try it without the metal piece back? Will it function correctly and not explode the finisher
