i have a Canon irc Advance 2030 with a problem for detect the usb for upgrade system any help will be appreciated ......

On your USB Flash Drive, create a folder and name it the following:

iAC2030

Now, when you extract the USB files , the file name will be as shown below:


USB_iAC2030_v12.02.01 (folder)


Copy this folder directly into the "iAC2030" folder.

NOTE: YOU CAN PLACE MULTIPLE FOLDERS INTO THE "IAC2030" FOLDER AND YOU CAN CHOOSE WHAT VERSION YOU WISH TO INSTALL.

USB_iAC2030_v12.02.01 (folder)

1. Create a Folder on your USB Flash Drive called "iAC2030".

2. Extract the downloaded file (example: "USB_iAC2030_Y20.70.01") to the default path of "Canon File Folder" on the C: Drive and then right click on the folder and copy.

3. Right click in the iAC2030 folder on the USB flash drive and paste the firmware folder into it.


4. Place the USB Flash Drive into the USB port on the side of the control panel and turn the machine on holding 2&8 to place into Download Mode.

5. Select the version to download

6. Select 1:Upgrade

7. Select 2: OK

Thanks ， but my problem is can not detect the usb for m/c used to upgrade system 。

Have you tried a different usb stick ? I have seen it before where the machine doesn't recognize a particular stick.

I put the usb stick to other m/c it can be detect , I also checked the setting for use usb stick in aditional function .

So the USB Stick & Firmware works in another C2030 ??

imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2030/ C2020 series or to prepare the software for a USB Flash Drive.

I had already prepare the software inside the usb flash drive before ,the problem is this m/c can not detect my usb stick ....

After replace the main con 1 yhe problem is solved !!!
