bypass size problem

Hi,

i have a Canon irc Advance 5235 with a problem for detect the monoarch envolope size , i had try to clean the size vr sensor , reposition the 3 point at the tray & service mode to auto adj the tray .... please help !!!!

First_ re-enter the service mode door label values for SERVICE MODE>COPIER>ADJ>CST-ADJ>MF-A4R, MF-A6R, MF-A4.


Then Make sure under >
Settings and Registration>Preferences>Paper Settings>Register Multi Purpose Tray> is set to "OFF".

It should be set to OFF to ask what type of paper is being loaded.

is this noted from an application/ when using the Print Driver

or envelope selection missing on control panel

or from Printing from a Mailbox Envelope /Paper Source Option is Grayed Out
In order to print on envelopes from a mailbox, you cannot specify any Finisher modes (Collate, Group, or Staple) in the Change Print Settings screen.
To make the envelope paper sources selectable, perform the following steps:

1. On the Change Print Settings screen within the mailbox, the Finisher button will be highlighted in blue.
2. Press the Finisher button.
3. Hit the Cancel button.
4. The Finisher button will no longer be highlighted in blue.
5. Press the Paper Select button.
6. The envelope paper sources will now be selectable.

Multi-Purpose Tray=Paper Size Detection
The paper width is detected according to output value from the variable resistor that works in
conjunction with the side guide.
Since the length cannot be detected, users have to specify the setting.
