[Error Code] Canon ir 2870

dear all

i have canon ir 2870 in which while scanning to pc after few pages it gets hang & after 2-3 minutes it shows error code e-0743-0000 whereas it works well during pull scanning & even while copying problem is only when scanning to pc. i have replaced ip board,hdd,reder pcb and its cables,ram and bootrom.

Canon has a KB article on this same error in a 6075. During the feeding of originals in the Duplex Color Image Reader C-1 the paper pickup rollers would bounce and hesitate in the original document paper pickup operation and then go into a code of E743-0000.


Replace the Dadf Driver PCB is what took care of the problem. I know you have replaced parts, just letting you know about this 6075 solution.

Disconnect and then connect the flexible cable used to connect the reader unit and the printer unit.Replace the following as necessary. flexible cable,reader controller PCB, main controller PCB.
