    Hi

I have a ir 5000 it stucks in doble side mode....the corona transfer have been replaced and I can see how the corona wire lights .... the first side is all ok but during the second side I can see how the paper take off after the drum and crash around the roller fixing upper jamming......

I quit the pre transfer corona with the same results...... any ideas

the image quality is good in both sides......

I hope to hear from you

Are there any dents in the paper when you remove the jam? The sensor arm before the fuser, the plate that it sits on can get bent down if i remember, there is a UFO about it, it needs to be bent back into shape, Usually if its double sided jamming on this type of model, pull out the Duplex assy and on the left hand side is a flapper, with teeth, this get paper cuts in, you will see them or feel them with your finger, the flapper is white if its the old type, or the new modifed type is black, you can either change it or sand down the cuts with a bit of glass paper. If its jamming around the fuser on d/sided, have you tried new paper? or a different kind of paper?

Whats the jam code? Have you rewired the sep corona to rule that out?
