    =========================;-/

    The "lead edge detect error" is indicated when the sheet is loaded askew. The printer will attempt to feed the paper, and then after a pause the message open the cover and align the paper is indicated.

    1. Check the paper selector and make sure that correct media type is selected (Roll or Sheet)
    2. Reload the sheet straight, in the correct position
    3. Check both sides of roll holders for any possible damage

    If the message persists suspect faulty Multi Sensor Unit ( QM2-3426-000), Flexible Cable (QM3-1354-000), Carriage Relay PCB (QM3-1332-000), or Main Board (QM3-1301-000).

    A Lead Edge Detection Error is Occurring, When Loading Roll Paper_
    The Machine is set to cut sheet and cannot be changed to roll feed paper.

    Insert any size cut sheet of paper into the plotter, and the machine should then correctly detect the lead edge and size of the cut sheet.
    Next, select roll paper; a message will appear asking to eject the sheet. At this point, press OK to eject the paper and install the roll paper.
