    Is this when using DF_?

COPIER>ADJUST>CCD>DFTAR-R set to 1136. Power cycle machine after adjusting setting.

          Sorry, when u mentioned RED , thought u had a iRADC2030

I am having 5 canon ir 2030 machines. while copying a document with red image or lines it do not appear in copy.

but while printing it is Ok, while scanning the same document it is Ok
so u mean> when u place a Color Doc (that has RED) on Glass of your B & W PRINTER , that color will not show up on printed B &W copy

where / or what are these Glass Originals or are they Copies of Color docs -

post a copy of issue !!!!!

          U say Printing & Scanning a Color document> the image is and shows solid B & W

Your not talking about the Color SEND function ==> which requires Color Send Kit-L1

Re: Canon ir 2030 While copying red images are not appearing in the copy

            Yes That is correct

when we place a Color Doc (that has RED) on Glass of the B & W PRINTER , that color will not show up on printed B &W copy.
The lighter cyan and yellow are appearing. ( normally these are letter head with logo or any color document)

But when printing the same document ( a copy of previously stored document or may be any document with red ) it appears clearly

            Hope you understood

            regards

OK> only when doing Glass/ The original is exposed to light and read using the contact image sensor (CIS) to read the image on a line-by-line basis.

The flow of analog image processing performed by the contact image sensor (CIS) is as follows:
The light reflected by the original is collected by the rod lens array.
              - The light is received by the CMOS sensor array.
              - The CMOS sensor array converts the received light to an electric signal and outputs it.
The CMOS sensor array consists of four channels (units).
Each channel is provided with an output correction table to output an image signal after performing gain correction for the input brightness signal.

              Contact Image Sensor (CIS)

              1) Enter the service mode.
Sequentially press the Additional functions key, 2 key, 8 key, and Additional functions key on the operation panel.
              2) Press the arrow key on the touch panel to display "TEST MODE".
              3) Press [OK].
              4) Press the [2] key to display "SCAN TEST".
              5) Press the [1] key to display "SHADING".
              6) Press [OK].
After completion of the above procedure, the contact sensor output is compensated and parameters are set automatically.
After completion of automatic adjustment, "OK" is displayed.

              did u clean OPTICS ?
              - Check whether the optical system is free from dew condensation
              - Check whether the optical system (contact sensor/white panel/copyboard glass) is free from scratches, stain, foreign objects.

              You can also adjust the
Density scale if differences between the image on the original
              and the print occur.

              Printer Density

              NOTE
              :
The default setting is in the middle ‘5’, on a scale of 1 to 9.
Press (Additional Functions) ➞ [Common Settings]
Press [▼] or [▲] until [Printer Density] appears ➞ press [Printer Density].
Press [Light] or [Dark] to adjust the print density ➞ press [OK].
Press [Done] repeatedly until the Basic Features screen appears.

              Adjusting the Contrast (Sharpness)

Place your originals ➞ press [Special Features].
              Press [Sharpness].

              Low

If you make copies of an original containing halftones, such as a printed photograph,
using the Photo mode, the moire effect (a shimmering, wavy pattern) may occur. In this
case, you can lessen this moire effect by using [Low] as the setting to produce a clearer
              copy.

              High
This setting enhances the edges of original images so that faint or fine text is reproduced
with a sharper contrast. This setting is particularly suited for copying blueprints and faint
              pencil drawn images.

              NOTE
              • To cancel this setting, press [Special Features] ➞ [Sharpness] ➞ [Cancel].
              • To cancel all settings and return the machine to the Standard mode, press
              (Reset).

You should re-post this as iR600 Issue for a better response, (not under here Canon ir2030 )

"Please wait" message appeared on the display.

First > make sure >All the fuser electrical connections are confirmed
                        next check Memory> remove>clean & re-seat

Make sure the exposure lamp heater has not moved and blocked the light from the exposure lamp to the lamp intensity sensor.
Please note the following page from the service manual showing the proper position of the lamp heater.
